Ayres Sensory Integration (S.I) Therapy

Important Information

Building blocks therapy is an evidence based practice and we provide sensory-based interventions for children and young adults with sensory processing difficulties in line with the Royal college of Occupational Therapy statement: Informed View, Sensory Integration and Sensory-Based Interventions, 2021.

https://www.rcot.co.uk/file/7991/download?token=QagWkJ7w

Our Occupational Therapist is trained to S.I level 1 (Foundations and Neuroscience). To offer S.I a therapist requires training to at least level 3. Therefore we do not currently offer Sensory Integration Therapy.

We will always maintain an occupational focus when working with your child or young adult. This may result in using sensory based interventions within our holistic assessments in order for the child or young adult to engage day to day activities.

If you have any questions regarding sensory processing difficulties or treatment, please contact us via the contact form.

To book an assessment please contact Building Blocks Therapy via our CONTACT US page.
